A wind farm's longest-standing stakeholder is the community living in its shadow. The Local Community Programme secures regular dialogue and tangible benefit for our neighbours from the first project idea to decommissioning.
Fair rent for landowners
Annual rent for turbine and road areas is contracted so that most of the field remains in farming use. Rent per turbine is indexed to inflation.
Village development budget
Each wind farm earmarks one thousandth of annual gross revenue for projects chosen with the village head and an advisory board of residents. In 2025 a total of TRY 6.4 million was spent: insulation in four schools, drip irrigation in two villages, three water tanks and a mobile health screening.
Complaints and feedback
- Every site has a community liaison officer.
- Reports on noise, shadow flicker and road damage are answered within five working days.
- Complaints are reported to the board every quarter.
Investing in young people
Our joint turbine-technician programme with vocational high schools in Çanakkale and Osmaniye provides internships and scholarships for 40 students each year.
